Danielle Martineau
Danielle brings a rich and diverse background to her practice, rooted in a lifelong exploration of the mind-body connection.
With over a decade of experience in mental health, Danielle is a seasoned psychotherapist skilled in various modalities, including EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. She completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Patty Townshend in 2013 and is currently finalizing her Comprehensive Pilates Certification with Zayna Gold of Boston Body.
Danielle integrates her expertise from these disciplines with her education in public health, psychology, social work, and economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Smith College School for Social Work, where she focused on studying implementing the use of yoga for the treatment of complex trauma. As a passionate advocate for trauma-informed care, Danielle has served as a trauma therapist at the Family Advocacy Center at Baystate Health and now operates a private practice. Her work is dedicated to bridging the gap between mind and body, offering a holistic and supportive approach to healing and wellness.
